* General specifications of the project
Description
Ports and maritime organization of Iran (PMO) aims to construct a maritime infrastructure with the functionality
of marina and passenger port. This project includes:
- Construction of an 80 m long rubble mound jetty
- Construction of a 352 m jetty (deck on piles structure)
- Construction of a basin including two breakwater arms (555 m and 345 m)
- Land reclamation, with an area of 2.6 hectares
- Fixed and floating berths
- All necessary land and marine facilites
Description
Aim: Site selection for a new commercial port southeast of the Caspian Sea
Activities:
An extensive visit along the coastline, southeast of the Caspian Sea
Data collection and interview with the locals
Numerical modeling of waves, currents, and sediment transport
Preparation of three alternative plans for the Green port, causing the least effects on the preserved Gomishan Talab
The basic design for roads, bridge over Gomishan Talab, rubble mound access road from the coast to the basin, berths, and breakwaters
Description
This project consists design of five small ports in the Persian Gulf including Shif and Shahzadeh Gheib small ports in Bushehr province
and Guban, Govarian, and Ghamar small ports in Khuzestan province.
