Field measurements and numerical modeling of temperature distribution in the vicinity of outfall and intake of Morvarid petrochemical plant

Aim: To investigate the best location of outfall considering the fixed location of intake, present condition, and future extension
Location: Assaluyeh-Bushehr Province.

Field observation at various seasonal conditions
Data analysis and interpretation
Calibration and verification of a 3D baroclinic numerical model
Examining different alternatives for the outfall using the calibrated numerical model
Cost estimates and technical comparison between the alternatives leading to the proposed location for the outfall
